“Candyfloss” Lace Front Wig [TrendyWigs] Review

I have wanted a lace front wig for a very long time, because you get to change your hairstyle, like ever other wig, but it looks more natural because of the lace hairline! They are on the expensive side ($50 – $400) though and I didn’t want to buy one impulsively. Recently I had saved up enough money to finally buy one! I would like to share my experience with you and I hope it will be of any help. ✲゚。.(✿╹◡╹)ノ☆.。₀:*゚✲゚*:₀。

I purchased my wig on TrendyWigs, which is a store specialised in lace front wigs. Their collection consists of a wide range of styles and colors. Their price range is between $90 and $120, but I paid a lot less for mine with a discount code, which I will leave down below!

Before ordering I had a few questions and contacted customer service. They replied within one working day with straight forward and understandable answers.

The wig I ordered is called Candyfloss and is currently enlisted with the price of $89.99 instead of the original price of $158. I am not sure wether this is an ongoing sale or not. The pictures down below are used on the site to display the lace front wig.

Candyfloss has a wavy texture and it’s approximately 14″ inches long, which is about 35 – 36 centimeters. The wig is an ombre of black and sweet orange-pink. You can style it however you want to, because the wig is heat resistant!

I made my purchase on the 13th of July 2017 and it got shipped out of Hong Kong on the 16th. I received my package on the 18th. The shipping was handled by DHL Express, which was lovely because that’s always fast. And the best of all; you don’t even have to pay for it, because TrendyWigs has free shipping!

The wig was carefully packed in a little box with the logo of the company on it. That box was also put in cardboard box, I assume for extra protection. My package also consisted of a few gifts you automatically get with your order; a wig brush, two wig caps and a few bobby pins.

My first impression of the wig was “Wow! It is really really soft!“. It is the softest wig I own and it feels natural although it is made out of synthetic fibers. The wig is also very thick and because of the cap structure you can’t see through. The ombre effect is done beautifully and it doesn’t look streaky at all. It has a gradual change of color. The only thing that disappointed me a bit was the front of the wig. The wig is longer at the front as you can see on the display pictures, but in reality it’s even longer. At first I thought it looked really stupid and wanted to cut it even, but I was afraid to mess it up! I am glad I decided not to, because I am fine with how it is now.

I am very happy with the purchase I made at TrendyWigs and I will definitely come back for another purchase! Their products are high-quality, shipping is fast and customer service is how it should be. I recommend their store to you if you are looking for a not too expensive and high-quality lace front wig. They carry a good variety of wigs, so I am sure you will find one that suits you! Thank you for reading and see you next time!

Long Long Tail Circle Lens Review

Hello everybody! Welcome back to another blog post.

Today I’ll be reviewing the following lenses from Long Long Tail:

Note: I won Madonna Violet in their Valentines giveaway and Dali Extra Gray & Black Cat were kindly sponsored by them! However, everything in this review is honest and not sugar-coated!

Madonna Violet

The contest was held on the 14th of February and they contacted me through e-mail on the 16th telling me I was one of the winners. I was given a few points to make the purchase, but I had trouble with selecting my shipping option. I was supposed to select K-Packet, but it would only let me select Express shipping. I contacted LLT and adressed the issue and the problem was resolved after that. I placed my order on the same day.

Ordered: 16th of February 2017

Shipped out: 19th of February 2017

Delivered: 24th of February 2017

My opinion

✨Comfort✨ 10/10
I didn’t feel anything sting when putting these lenses in and they haven’t bothered me at all while wearing them. These lenses feel thinner than other circle/colored lenses I have worn before, which is a plus point for me, but if you have never worn lenses before putting them in might be a little bit more difficult. I don’t have anything to complain about.
⠀⠀
✨Colour✨ 8/10
I love the look the voilet/purple color adds to my eyes. The lenses cover my natural eye color (green) perfectly! They are not very enlarging, but they are colored contacts and not circle lenses, so enlargment isn’t their purpose.

Dali Extra Gray & Black Cat

Just like my first purchase, I was given points to buy my lenses at their store. I had no trouble with selecting K-Packet as my shipping courier this time which I am glad about!

Ordered: 25th of March 2017

Shipped out: 29th of March 2017

Delivered: 5th of April 2017

My opinion on Dali Extra Gray

✨Comfort✨ 10/10
The same goes for these lenses! They are also really comfortable and I accidently fell asleep while wearing them, but I didn’t feel anything sting when I woke up. Lovely! But please be careful yourself though, because lenses aren’t supposed to be worn while being asleep! This can damage your eyes, because not enough oxygen can be let through.
⠀⠀
✨Colour✨ 7/10
I always have wanted gray lenses and lenses with a brown rim, so I was pretty excited to try these out! The gray shows up really minimal on my green eyes, but it makes a lovely mixture of both colors. You only really notice the gray when you stand close to the mirror. The brown rim makes it look more natural, which is amazing for daily life use! I did have the idea though that the brown rims weren’t entirely symmetrical. This was a downside for me. Overall I am happy with these and I will definitely make a lot of cool looks with them ♥

My opinion on Black Cat

✨Comfort✨ 10/10

They are very comfortable and I didn’t feel anything sting while putting them in. The same comfort level as the two previous lenses!

⠀⠀
✨Colour✨ 5/10

I have light eyes (green) and the black didn’t show up that well on my eyes! A disappointment for me, but I am sure they will show up way better on someone with darker eyes. Black Cat made it look like I had a thicker rim then usual, which was really pretty, but sadly not the effect I was aiming for!

Overall experience

Working with Long Long Tail was very pleasant and I wish them all the best with their lovely company. The customer service is great; they respond very quickly and their English is good. I will definitely make a purchase of my own in the future and if LLT wants to work with me again I won’t turn it down! The only thing that bothered me was the lack of different lens sizes, as far as I know they only sell lenses with a diameter of 14.0 and 14.2mm. I usually wear lenses with a diameter between 14.5 and 15.0mm to mimic that ‘dolly‘ effect. I would give the shop a 10/10 if they expanded their diameter range. Thank you for reading and have a nice day ♡

My Most Treasured Places In Greece

I recently went on a trip to Greece with my class as a part of the graduation program. We visited serveral cultural sights while touring through the country. I definitely learned a lot from this lovely experience and as a memory for later I want to list down my favourite places! If you are travelling to Greece soon, I absolutely recommend going them if you have the chance to!

ESTIA Cafe – Restaurant (Athens)

I usually hate waiters who push a menu in front of your face and try to lure you into their restaurant, but I made an exception for one waiter this vacation. He really made the free time me and my friends had way more fun and interesting. I will surely remember him when I am older, just because he is such a sweetheart. Of course he has to be, otherwise no one will eat at his place, but he felt more genuine. I would like to note that I am from the Netherlands and I speak Dutch. The moment he noticed that he only talked in Dutch to our group. It was adorable. Besides that, it was my birthday and I was obligated to wear a ‘Happy Birthday’ hat the entire day and he wouldn’t stop congratulating me. It was hilarious in my opinion.

Of course, the waiter isn’t the only reason why I put this on my list. The food was delicious and we didn’t have to wait too long before we got it. The price was decent as well, considering we are all poor high schoolers. Link to their website

Delphi

On our third day we went to Delphi and we stayed for one night in a crappy hotel. The bed was ok and the breakfast was alright, but everything else was terrible. Luckily enough was the scenery amazing and that made everything up for me. While we had some free time to lunch and explore the environment I went strolling around with a good friend of mine. We took lovely pictures of the many stairs and stray cats that are there. We eventually decided to climb all the way up the mountain and I certainly don’t regret this decision. If you ever happen to pass by Delphi, stop for a few hours and just hang around and enjoy the beautiful place it is.

Ancient Corinth

I am pretty sure this place’s only purpose is to exploit tourists, but that doesn’t take away the lovely memory I have made there. I have to be honest, there isn’t much to do except for eating, visiting ruins and buying lots of souvenirs. But still, it is a cute place with old buildings and as a beginner photographer such things are my aesthetic.

We had a bite at a really good restaurant, cheap food and they serve very quickly (!), and after that we went to the local supermarket to buy some fruit. To my surprise was the assortment very limited. I had thought that Greece as a Southern European country would be flooded with exotic fruits such as mango, papaya and pineapple, but it was limited to strawberries and apples. Very delicious also, but I was looking forward to eating fruits that are super expensive back home! Next the group had decided to split up and I went on a souvenirs hunt with a friend. We didn’t have to search long, because there is a souvenirs shop around every corner. Some shops carry quite unique things I haven’t seen in other souvenirshops throughout the country, so I definitely recommend sneaking around and maybe you’ll find something special!

Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed it! If you are going to Greece in a little while; have fun! It really is a beautiful country. As for my blog, I hope to write more things like this in the future, because I love travelling and immersing in unknown cultures. I hope to go on exchange after my graduation, so if you are interested in such things stay tuned! If you want more updates please follow my social media that are listed somewhere on my blog. See you next time \(´∀`●)/★,。・:・゚

Anime I’m Currently Watching

Hello everyone!~

It has been quite a while since my last post, but I just couldn’t decide what to write about. But then it just came to me; anime. As I have stated in my earlier posts, I love watching anime. And if you are looking for anime recommendations; this post is meant for you!

Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge (Tanaka-kun is Always Listless)

tanaka-kun

Summary:

Sighing, leaning on his elbows, sleepy eyes. Tanaka-kun is a boy who basically doesn’t try but isn’t disliked. This is a laid-back youth comedy about Tanaka-kun and the quiet Oota who can’t leave him alone.

Okay, I started this anime yesterday night (I’m not kidding) and I had to stop myself from binge-watching it. Tanaka-kun is a really relatable lazy dork and you can’t help but fall in love with him and the show. Everything, from the music to the art style, has this calm aura surrounding it, and it fits perfectly with the story. You don’t have to expect some crazy wild story or anything like that. Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge is one of those lay-back shows you watch for no apparent reason, but that’s not really important.

Haikyuu!!

haikyuu

Summary:

A chance event triggered Shouyou Hinata’s love for volleyball. His club had no members, but somehow persevered and finally made it into its very first and final regular match of middle school, where it was steamrolled by Tobio Kageyama, a superstar player known as “King of the Court.” Vowing revenge, Hinata applied to the Karasuno High School volleyball club… only to come face-to-face with his hated rival, Kageyama!

Everyone has probably already seen this anime, but whatever. I’m not a huge fan of sport anime, everything seems just really pointless and predictable to me. So I never really bothered watching Haikyuu!! But oh man, I was wrong..

I am currently on the second season and the love I feel for these volleyballing dorks keeps growing every day. I can’t tell much about the show, since it’s all about volleyball, volleyball and uh.. volleyball? The games are intense. I even caught myself cursing when one of Karasuno’s spikes got blocked. Oh well

suga baby

I am even going to cosplay this beautiful momma. You can follow my Instagram if you want to be up to date with the progress of my Sugawara cosplay!

Kiznaiver

kiznaiver

Summary:

The anime’s setting is a fictional Japanese city named Sugomori City. One day, Noriko Sonosaki tells her classmate Katsuhira Agata, “You have been selected to be a Kiznaiver.” The Kizuna System, which allows Katsuhira to share his wounds, connects him to the classmates whose lives and personalities completely differ from his. The Kizuna System is an incomplete system for the implementation of world peace that connects people through wounds. All those who are connected to this system are called Kiznaivers. When one Kiznaiver is wounded, the system divides and transmits the wound among the other Kiznaivers. Sugomori City is built on reclaimed land, but as the years go by, the city’s population is decreasing. The story is set in this town where Katsuhira and the others live.

I started watching this anime, because there was a lot of hype around it. The anime itself seems pretty okay, I like the concept of the whole Kiznaiver System, but I have no idea where they are going with it. I can’t say much about it. That’s pretty much it, I am sorry if you expected a bit more here, but I don’t want to make any wrong assumptions about it.

I really like Nico’s character design though, she is a super adorable cutie pie. And I am really hooked on the OP. I actually started listening to it before I had started watching Kiznaiver. Oops.

Thanks for reading and see you in my next blog post! (・ω ・✿)✧・゚: *✧・゚:*
